Spazio Nobile Gallery curates a special exhibition at the Hotel Amigo, the iconic Rocco Forte hotel in Brussels, in collaboration with the 2025 edition of the Collectible Art Fair. The Art of Making is an exhibition that features work by seven female artists who also show with the gallery. The installation transforms the hotel lobby into a unique artistic destination through the end of March. Included in the exhibition are: Florence Coenraets (BE) who will be present with the kakemono feather painting “Immersion Océan”, the natural feather composition “Ciel de Bruxelles” and two mobile feather sculptures “Atmosphères”. “Corps et Âme” work on paper by Éva Garcia (FR) will be in dialogue with large hand-blown glass vases “Crackle” by Åsa Jungnelius (SE) and ceramic Raku vases by Kiki van Eijk (NL). Pao Hui Kao‘s (TW) Lacquer Leaf, a wall installation made of crepe paper, rice glue, Urushi lacquer and kintsugi, will be a source of contemplation in the space of the lobby. The tactile tapestries by Vera Vermeersch (BE), “L’odore del sole, le voci lontane”, “Casa in collina I & II” and “Passaggio sentimentale” promise to evoke fragments of a landscape in Piedmont, Italy where the artist has her house, La Palude. They will interact with a selection of glazed ceramic sculptures with vibrant colours and art historical references by Bela Silva (PT): “J’Adore Venise”, “Éclosion printanière”, “Sentinelle”, “Solitaria bellezza”, “Perfil de musa” and her acrylic and gouache on paper “J’ai lu tes lettres”.

These seven artists represent a fusion of creative energy, using their talents in making to challenge perceptions and deepen the viewer’s experience of contemporary art. This collaboration brings together two powerhouses of culture and creativity based in Brussels, offering guests and visitors a rare opportunity to experience some of the finest contemporary works in a luxurious and artistic setting. Hotel Amigo, renowned for its sophisticated atmosphere and impeccable service, will serve as the ideal backdrop for this art showcase, offering a seamless fusion of hospitality and culture.

The exhibition at Hotel Amigo will run from 6 March until 30 March 2025. It is open to hotel guests, art collectors, and the general public by invitation.

Collectible Art Fair is open between March 13-16, 2025 at the Vanderborght Building, Brussels.
