Design Shanghai: Chinese Designers
Only 3 days till Design Shanghai 2015 – from 27 to 30 March 2015 – opens its doors. TLmag takes this occasion to announce a few of the Chinese designers that will be on show: Frank Chou and Wang Yuyang.
Frank Chou from Frank Chou Design Studio – established in 2012 – is dedicated to producing the high quality furniture and striking interior design. Within the Contemporary Design Hall, Chou will debut his latest collection – a mixture of wool, metal and dark-shade materials.

Well-known Chinese artist Wang Yuyang employs 3D-processes to create a site-specific installation within Jean Prouvé’s 6×9 Demountable House, for Swiss luxury brand Bally. Yuyang will present Equip – a sculpture that reflects the aesthetics and philosophy of Jean Prouvé’s House and its relevance within China’s contemporary society.
