Marianne Mathieu is an art historian specializing in Impressionism, Claude Monet, and Berthe Morisot. Former scientific director of the Musée Marmottan Monet in Paris, she is special advisor for the digital catalogue raisonné of Claude Monet’s work and a member of the Monet committee. She has curated numerous exhibitions on Monet, including “Monet-Mitchell” (2022-2023, Paris, Fondation Louis Vuitton) and “Monet in Full Light” (2023, Monaco, Grimaldi Forum). She has edited several reference works, including Monet Beyond the Horizon in 2025 published by Hazan.
